First introduced in 1909, the Giro d’Italia™ stands as the inaugural Grand Tour within the professional cycling calendar. To commemorate our affiliation with this iconic tour, during which riders relentlessly pursue the coveted Maglia Rosa over 21 days, we have crafted a distinctive pattern illustrating the challenging ascents encountered throughout this legendary Grand Tour. 

• Prizm™ Technology: Patented by the Oakley brand. Its purpose is to increase contrast and flit light, which makes the colours we perceive more saturated. All this is done to make us see more detail through maximised depth perception. This not only improves visual comfort, but also protects the eyes during sports from skiing to cycling. By choosing models that use this solution, you will see more detail than the naked human eye can pick up.

• PhysioMorphic Geometry™: Lens design with an extended angle and greater rigidity that mimics the structural properties of the frame. Ventilation holes at the top of the lenses improve airflow around the face. The shape of the elongated Encoder Strike lenses is inspired by one of Oakley's most famous frames, the Razor Blades. 

• Plutonite® : The lens material provides the highest UV protection, filtering 100% of all UVA rays, UVB rays up to 400 nm and some harmful blue light.

• Unobtainium™: Non-slip ear pads increase grip when sweating.

• O-Matter™: A frame that will not break even during a hard impact or fall. The material does not darken when exposed to the sun.
