The Atomic Backland 88 is an all-terrain model that is shaping the future of skiing with a focus on the well-being of our planet. Developed as a result of a scientific assessment of the equipment's life cycle, the design reduces total production waste and CO2 emissions by 30% (compared to the 2021 Backland 85 model). By using more low-carbon raw materials and sidewalls that reduce waste, this design significantly reduces the environmental impact of the equipment while providing the skis with versatile ski touring characteristics. The All-Terrain Profile uses more poplar wood and less fibreglass and resin to achieve a ski shape that provides greater stability. HRZN 3D technology offers uniquely milled tips that improve floatation in powder and seamless integration with Dura Cap sidewalls, resulting in extremely responsive tip, sidewall and edge interaction.
